Social Media & Communications Consultant

Curve Communications is looking for a talented social media and communications consultant to join our marketing and PR agency! As our primary social media coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day social media operations for our various clients, as well as creating and implementing digital strategies to promote their brand. This is an entry level position, with a 4-6 month full-time contract to start.

Responsibilities
– execute social media strategies for both agency and clients, from day-to-day managing of social media accounts to engaging with various online communities
– creating compelling content for blogs, website, ad copy, marketing materials, etc.
– proposing and executing social media campaigns tailored for our clients’ specific needs
– ensuring that all our digital initiatives are on brand, and adhere to SEO best practices
– media monitoring and tracking digital trends for social media campaigns
– contacting and pitching to media outlets for clients’ campaigns

Qualifications
– prior experience in social media, digital marketing, or similar role
– keen interest in marketing, PR, social media and communications
– demonstrated knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Google+ LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, and other major social media platforms
– familiar with HootSuite or Tweetdeck
– familiar with WordPress and other blogging/CMS platforms
– very strong communication skills, both written and oral
– must be able to handle a fast-paced agency environment
– able to multitask and be flexible
– detail-oriented
– experience with Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, SEO/SEM, Google AdWords is an asset
